Island Oriental Food Mart started its humble beginning on September 2009. Owned by Ms. Medi, she started Island Oriental Food Mart ultimately to serve Filipinos working on Cruise Lines and in the hope of catering Residents at Merritt Island and nearby cities. She opened the shop with her daughter Stella at the early September last 2009.
Island Oriental Food Mart started with the hobby of Ms. Medi -- Cooking!! Inspired by family and friends, she decided to open the store, a combination of Filipino Food Mart and Asian "Oriental" groceries. Due to immense response of the Customers, Island Oriental Food Mart has hired some cooks and Assistance to cater the expansion of the services and groceries of the store.
They offer services including Balikbayan boxes, Money remittance; Phonecards on top of the Food Mart and Oriental Grocery Store.
